Exploring a new school for your child is an exciting journey. At Seven Bridges School, our Admission Team stands ready to help you and your child to learn about Seven Bridges and everything we have to offer.

At Seven Bridges, students who learn differently finally feel at home, where they are comfortable they begin to ask questions, take risks, get over their heads, and creatively find their way out. Each child’s intellectual and emotional growth is supported individually, and curriculum design and delivery method is created for each student, so each student develops the self-knowledge and confidence to explore their passions and succeed in the world.

Small classes, highly trained teachers, and paraprofessionals educate and inspire each student to develop into confident and resourceful achievers.

Learning differences at Seven Bridges include ADHD, auditory processing disorder, autism spectrum disorder, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, executive function, language processing disorder, memory, non-verbal learning disorder, and visual perceptual/visual motor deficit.

Admission Process

*Students seeking admission to Seven Bridges School are carefully evaluated to determine academic potential and learning needs for suitability to the school environment. The process begins with a thorough review of psychological-educational testing and standardized test scores.

*Seven Bridges School then conducts a Program Placement Interview with the Admissions Team, where a determination is made that the student’s educational, emotional, and behavioral needs can be accommodated. Based on this information, curriculum design and delivery method are created for each individual student.

Admission requirements must be met before full admission is approved. Testing must be current within three years of application. A full psycho-educational evaluation may be required if not available. Evidence is required that emotional or behavioral issues are not a primary concern. We then use the application form, testing, and references to determine the goodness of fit, both socially and academically, with the existing Seven Bridges student body. Admission acceptance status will be provided within two weeks of admission requirements completion. Consideration for admission is based on completion of application forms, review of current psycho-educational (WISC-III and Woodcock Johnson), school records, pertinent medical records, school visitation, interview with the student and family, and paid application fee.

*If a student enters the school with a current psychological/educational evaluation, updated testing be requested every three years.

*Class size is limited. If an opening is not available, qualified applicants will be placed on a waiting list.

*In accordance with Title IV of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, no child is refused admission to the school on the grounds of race, creed, or national origin.

*Students are accepted on a trial basis. This trial will be a minimum of nine weeks but may be extended at the discretion of the administration.

*The following documents are required to be on file for each student:

A physical examination (DOH form DH 3040). Proof of immunization (DOH form DH 680). A copy of the student’s birth certificate and a copy of the mother or father’s birth certificate. A copy of the student’s Social Security card.

I supported my son and Seven Bridges throughout his high school years. Thank you very much for making my dream come true. But mostly my son's dream of going to college a reality. Seven Bridges is the best school ever.

I only wish I had found this school sooner.
Thank you so much Nancy,  and all the teachers at Seven Bridges School

You are an academic angel for helping that child realize he has a heart. I found your kindness and what you shared with me yesterday very moving.
